I teach the whole family of guitars (Classical, Electric, Acoustic and Bass) from novice to university entrance standard. The Syllabus I endorse for Classical Guitar is Trinity College .

However I do not insist on my students studying for or entering music examinations. That is at the discretion of both student and parents, this also covers performances and competitions.

In my many years of teaching I have always positively encouraged groups and ensembles to form. This is of vital importance to guitarists who otherwise would not get the chance to join school orchestras and other such social musical activities.

I also run rock band and song writing workshops within schools.

My Spanish Guitar Ensemble performs regularly and many of the bands I have helped guide in forming set lists have gone on to gig locally and nationally.
