I have been playing the violin since I was 7 years of age and from the first moment I picked up the bow I have been in love with what I do. I had asked my parents for years to allow me to have violin lessons in school and they finally relented. (after some complaining about wailing cats and the like...)

The Violin is the most mysterious and powerful of instruments to me. I take great joy in every note I make. I also try to impart that joy and passion for the instrument and it's music in every performance I play!

I trained at Colchester Institute of Music, where I met Matt. We started working together in 1995 and very quickly began taking part in competitions and performances. We have worked together ever since.

I have had a passion for the guitar since I was 11 years old. At this time I experimented with all styles of play until I found my fondest love, the classical guitar (though I do still like to rock sometimes!)

I graduated from Colchester  Institute of Music in 1996 with BA(hons) having studied a program of Early Music, Musicology,  Classical Guitar and Composition among the other fields.

I am now a full time teacher with Kent Music School (KMS) and run the West Kent Guitar Orchestra which I founded in 2001.

As well as performing I also spend a lot of my time composing for guitar solo and ensemble. I am currently forming my own series of tuition books.
